The Flux is a posterior walking aid for children and adults who can take steps with support but need the frame out of their way to do it. The frame opens in the direction of travel, so there is little in front of the user to trip over or to pull the body forward, and the walker encourages an upright trunk and a more natural stride.
Grip bars adjust in height as a child grows, so the same frame can carry a client through several years of therapy. Reverse roll locks, friction brakes and anti tippers keep the walker predictable when a step goes wrong, and it folds with a safety lock for the boot of the car or for storage in a classroom.
Forearm supports, hip control, a sling seat and a fold up seat can be added where a client needs them.
