About this product

Most pelvic belts have the same failure: they drop out of position the moment the client stands or transfers, and someone has to fish them out from beside the hip. The Bodypoint Evoflex is built around stiffened end straps that hold where they are set and pivot forward and back, so the belt presents itself ready to fasten and stays clear during the transfer.

That suits a client who is in and out of the chair through the day, a carer doing repeated transfers, and a client who fastens their own belt. The centre pull brings both sides in from the middle, so pelvic position is set symmetrically in one action instead of adjusted side to side. The push-button buckle is the lightest of the Bodypoint options and can be supplied with security features where unfastening is a risk. DuraLatch and swivel buckles are available in the range if the client needs something different.

Mounting uses spring washers that hold the belt clear of the drive wheels. Where anterior pelvic tilt needs blocking, the belt works alongside a sub-ASIS pad. The materials stand up to abrasion, tearing and temperature extremes, so it copes with a chair that lives outdoors as well as in.

Size and mounting hardware should be matched to the chair and the client at fitting.
