Some clients cannot tuck their feet back under the chair. Tight hamstrings, a stiff knee or an ankle that will not dorsiflex all push the foot forward, and a standard footrest angle fights that. These leg supports open the foot angle out and let the leg sit where it wants to.
They are height adjustable and swing away for transfers, and the footplates fold up so the client can get their feet to the floor when standing. Heel straps are included, which stops the feet sliding backwards off the plates while the chair is being pushed.
Sold as a pair in stainless steel and polypropylene, so they handle a wet bathroom and repeated washing.
