Clients with low body fat, sensitive skin or poor sitting tolerance often cannot stay on a hard commode seat long enough to finish a bowel routine in comfort. The Etac soft comfort seat drops onto the Swift Mobil-2 seat frame and gives the client a moulded polyurethane surface to sit on.
The shape is ergonomic with a recess at the front for personal care access, and the rear opening options keep carer access the way it is on the standard seat. Choosing a thicker cushion gives more relief; a thinner one keeps the client closer to the original seat height. Opening width options let you match the client’s anatomy and the level of support they need under the thighs.
It lifts off for cleaning and goes back on without tools.
