Some clients cannot sit with their legs together. Wide hips, fixed abduction, oedematous legs or a bulky dressing all need extra room between the leg supports, and forcing the legs inward is uncomfortable and can push the pelvis out of position.
This widening kit is a pair of adapters that mount onto the existing leg supports and move them outward, giving the legs the space they need while keeping the feet properly supported. Nothing else about the chair changes, so seat height, backrest and armrest settings all stay as you configured them.
The adapters are polyamide, add very little weight and can go through a washer disinfector with the rest of the chair. They come as standard on the XL versions of the Swift Mobil range and can be added to a standard chair already in service.
They fit the Swift Mobil-2, Swift Mobil Tilt-2 and Swift Mobil 24 inch-2.
