About this product

This is the standard textile cover for Star air cell cushions in the StarLock and Stabil Air ranges.

It is the everyday cover that goes over the cells, giving the client a normal fabric seating surface while leaving the cushion free to move under them as they shift position. Because the fit is correct for the cushion, it does not pull taut across the top of the cells, which is what causes a cushion to feel hard and stop redistributing pressure properly.

It comes off and goes back on easily, so washing it is a routine job for a carer. For a client who is in the chair all day, having two covers means the cushion never goes without one.
