This is the outer cover for a Dreamline Assist cushion, sold on its own. Covers take the wear in a seating setup: they are the layer exposed to transfers, continence, food and everyday friction, and they are the part that needs washing most often.
Having a spare means the cushion keeps working while the first cover is in the wash. For clients who use a wheelchair all day, that avoids the choice between sitting on a damp cover and sitting on bare foam, which is where skin problems start.
It also extends the life of a cushion that is otherwise sound, so a worn cover does not turn into a request for a whole new prescription.
