The Comfort soft seat replaces the hard seat on an Etac Clean with a padded surface, which suits clients who spend real time on the chair during showering and toileting. Time on a rigid seat is what puts pressure through the sitting bones, and a softer surface spreads that load.
It is supplied with a choice of seat opening, so you can match the aperture to the client’s needs: a narrower opening gives more support under the thighs and buttocks, a wider one gives the carer more room for hygiene access and for positioning the pan.
The seat wipes down and comes off the frame for cleaning, which keeps it practical in a shared or high turnover setting.
