Bare frame tube is cold and hard against the skin, which is uncomfortable during a long shower and can be a problem for clients with fragile skin or reduced sensation.

The pads sit on the arm support and leave the handle itself clear, so the client can still take a firm grip when pushing up to stand and the carer keeps the handle for steering.

They are an easy addition to a chair already in service and can be fitted at any time.
