The EP20AU is the higher specification pump in the Elata range, and like its smaller sibling it recognises the mattress with Elata ID and sets the mode without anyone choosing one. It then adjusts on its own for the client’s weight and for how they are lying.
What it adds is protection at the two points where pressure care usually fails. PowerGuard battery backup keeps the surface working when the power goes out, at home or during a move through a building. TiltSense adjusts automatically as the bed profiles, which is what stops a client bottoming out through the sacrum when the backrest comes up. A Pressure Comfort setting lets a clinician fine-tune pressures within a safe range for a client who finds the standard setting too firm or too soft, and Max Inflation firms the surface for transfers.
It is supplied as standard with the E500 hybrid and the E700 alternating air mattress.
