The EP10AU is built so that whoever plugs it in cannot get it wrong. Elata ID recognises which mattress it is connected to and sets the mode itself, which takes the guesswork away from a carer or a night nurse who has not used the system before.
From there AdaptiveMode keeps adjusting the therapy to the client rather than holding one setting all night, SafeHold protects the surface through a power interruption, and quick-start inflation gets the mattress usable soon after it is connected. A Max Inflation mode firms the surface right up for transfers and repositioning, then returns to therapy. The motor is quiet, which is worth more than it sounds in a bedroom.
It comes as standard with the E600. Order it separately when an E400 hybrid is to be run as a dynamic system.
