The STX with quick release hardware brings the modular back support to clients whose chairs have to come apart. The backrest lifts off and refits in the same position, so a carefully built arrangement of pillows is not lost every time the chair goes in a vehicle.
Inside the cover the STX is a set of positioning pillows filled with visco-elastic cluster packs. They mould to the client and can be layered in any orientation, so a therapist can build the shape around a scoliosis, a rotation or an uneven ribcage. The arrangement can be revised later as posture changes or as a client grows.
The outer cover is breathable and stretches smoothly over the pillows, so there are no ridges pressing into skin.
