This is the Vicair O2 XXtra supplied with its standard top cover, ready to go into the chair. The cushion is an air cell design for bariatric clients: compartments of SmartCells that redistribute load across the seating surface and keep pressure off the bony prominences.
It handles asymmetry two ways. Small differences in pelvic position are absorbed as the cells move, and where you need more, cells can be shifted between compartments so the support matches the pelvis in front of you. That makes it a practical cushion for a client whose posture is still settling or changes through the day.
Everything washes in a machine, so it is straightforward for families and for facilities running a shared equipment pool.
