This Vicair O2 Vector comes with the Reversible cover, which carries a cool breathable face and a fluid resistant polyurethane coated face on the one cover. The client sits on whichever suits the day, and changing sides is a matter of unzipping the top section, turning it and zipping it back on.
Underneath, the contoured cushion holds air filled SmartCells in nine compartments. Adjusting them individually gives close control over pelvic position and offloading, which matters for clients who cannot reposition themselves and for those carrying an existing pressure injury.
Deflated cells are replaced singly, so a small fault does not cost a whole cushion.
