The Vicair O2 Vector is for a client who needs a very high level of stability along with skin protection. The seat surface is anatomically contoured, and air filled SmartCells sit in nine separate compartments so support can be built up or taken away under specific parts of the pelvis and thighs.
That level of control lets a therapist accommodate a fixed postural deviation or work to correct a flexible one, while keeping load off the ischial tuberosities and coccyx. It suits clients with sensory impairment, weak pelvic control or a pressure injury already under treatment.
Individual SmartCells can be replaced singly, so one fault does not retire the cushion, and the cushion machine washes with the cells left in. Supplied here without a cover.
