This is the low build Vicair O2 Twin supplied with the Comfair cover. It suits a client who needs air cell pressure care but cannot afford to lose seat height, and who sits long enough that heat build up becomes part of the problem.
The Comfair cover uses a knitted polyester top with 3D mesh sides, so air moves through the cushion and is not trapped against the skin. Pleating at the rear helps the cushion form around the pelvis, and the anti slip base keeps it seated on the wheelchair sling.
Two separately adjustable compartments of air filled SmartCells carry the load, and the cushion and cover both wash in a standard machine with the cells in place.
