Incontinence is the usual reason a good pressure cushion gets retired early. This version of the Vicair O2 Twin is supplied with the Incotec cover, a knitted polyester outer coated with a fluid resistant breathable polyurethane, so spills can be wiped off the surface before they soak into the cushion.
Underneath, air filled SmartCells in two compartments spread load across the thighs and pelvis and help prevent a client sliding forward through the day. Each compartment is adjusted by adding or removing cells, so the support can be shaped to the person at fitting.
The cushion and the cover both go in the washing machine, with the cells left in place, which keeps the cleaning routine simple for family carers and support workers.
