About this product

For a client with a wound, a graft or a flap repair over the coccyx, sacrum or perineum, the aim is not to spread pressure over that spot, it is to take the spot out of contact altogether. The Vicair Centre Relief O2 does that with an adjustable non contact area in the middle of the cushion. Cells are removed from the centre compartment until the tissue at risk is fully offloaded, and put back as the wound heals.

The rest of the cushion keeps working while that happens. Surrounding compartments of SmartCells carry the load through the thighs and ischial region, and a pre ischial bar helps hold the pelvis back so the offload window stays where you set it.

This listing is the cushion without a cover, for prescriptions where the cover is chosen separately or an existing cover is being reused.
