Asymmetry is the reason this cushion exists. The Vicair Adjuster O2 is divided into compartments of air-filled SmartCells, and you can add or remove cells compartment by compartment to build up one side, drop a side, or accommodate a pelvic obliquity or an amputation.
Once it is set, the cells keep working. They move under the person as they shift through the day, so pressure keeps redistributing across the whole sit. A pre-ischial section at the front reduces forward sliding and the shear that comes with it.
