Where a client needs pressure care and postural management from the one cushion, the Dyna-Tek Posture Visco does both. A visco elastic surface layer softens and moulds under body heat to spread load, and the contoured base includes an ischial tuberosity well that locates the pelvis and helps hold a midline sitting position.
Under the visco layer sits a CME foam base that resists bottoming out and keeps the cushion firm enough at the edge for a client to transfer across. It is rated for clients at high risk of pressure injury, and carries a higher user weight allowance than most cushions in this class, which widens who it can be prescribed for.
The cover is multi stretch and vapour permeable with an anti fungal treatment, and an optional non slip base is available where the cushion needs to stay put on a slippery seat.
