About this product

Bathrooms are where falls happen, and the wet end of the house is hard on equipment. The Cura1 2558 is built for it: an IP65 rated call button that can be fixed beside a toilet, a shower or a bed and still be there in two years.

Your client either presses the button or pulls the removable cord, and the call goes by radio to a Cura1 ActiveCare pager or a StaffAlert receiver. A red LED on the unit lights up to confirm it has gone through, which matters for a client sitting on a shower chair wondering whether anyone heard. The reset is built into the unit and cleared with the caregiver key, so the call stays live until someone has actually attended. It runs on replaceable lithium cells with a low battery warning and an accessible compartment, so there is no charging routine for a carer to remember.

It suits a client who can recognise they need help and press a button or pull a cord: after a fall in the bathroom, at night in bed, or in a group home where staff carry a pager. It relies on the client raising the call, so that ability needs to be settled before it goes into the plan.
