Clients who turn their head constantly need a head support that travels with them. This interface sits between the head support pad and its mounting hardware and lets the pad rotate with the head, so the client can look around and the pad stays where it belongs against the back of the skull.
That reduces the rubbing that causes skin irritation on clients who move their head constantly, and it helps anyone driving with a head array or using head activated switching, because the support follows the movement. An underslung knob locks the rotation at any point when a fixed position is wanted.
It is machined from aluminium and takes the standard ball fitting used by head support hardware. It suits clients with dyskinetic cerebral palsy, high level spinal cord injury and other movement disorders.
