These inserts turn a shoe sandal into something a client can wear on a bare or stockinged foot. The neoprene is stretchable and bound in nylon, so it pads the base of the sandal and softens the edges where a foot would otherwise sit on a rigid plate.

They suit clients who cannot wear shoes because of oedema, splints, foot shape or sensory tolerance, and they suit warm weather use where a client spends the day without footwear. The padding also spreads load for a foot that would otherwise take all its pressure on the heel.

An adhesive backing sticks them in place inside the sandal, so a carer can fit them without hardware and replace them when they wear.
