Lifting a full kettle and pouring boiling water is one of the riskier jobs in the kitchen once grip or balance goes. This instant hot water kettle takes it out of the picture. The 2.5 litre tank sits on the base, your client puts a cup under the spout and presses one button. It heats and dispenses just the amount they chose, at the temperature they chose.
Preset temperatures run from 45 to 95 C, so it suits tea, coffee and cooler drinks, and preset volumes from 30 to 400 ml mean a single cup or a small pot without guesswork. The large buttons and LCD display are easy to read, and the no-tip design keeps the hot water where it belongs.
Who it suits
A client with arthritis, reduced grip or wrist strength, a tremor, or who uses a walking aid and cannot safely carry a kettle. It also suits aged care, retirement living and staff tea rooms where several people make drinks through the day.
