About this product

For a client whose day is mostly indoors and around town, the Frontier V4 Urban FWD is the easy one to drive. Front wheel drive pulls the chair into corners instead of swinging the back end, so kitchens, hallways, shop aisles and getting under a desk or table all take less thought.

Urban wheels keep the overall width down, which matters in older Tasmanian homes with narrow doorways. The chair still has the all-wheel suspension and geared in-line motors the Frontier range is known for, so footpaths, kerb cut-outs and rough patches between the car and the front door are no drama. If your client’s needs shift outdoors, crossover or off-road wheels fit the same frame.

The seat pan is adjustable and takes Magic Mobility rehab seating or an aftermarket system, with centre post, manual elevating or powered swingaway legrests, and Penny and Giles R-Net electronics with an LCD or LED display. Tie-down points are crash test compliant for travelling in a vehicle. The motors are splash resistant, not waterproof: no creeks, rivers or sea. Premium colours are an extra cost option.
