The QRi is a lightweight rigid chair with a strong open frame that covers the day to day well: commuting, work, study and getting in and out of a vehicle, at a price that is easier to fund.
The open frame gives a stable wheelbase and a fluid castor design, and transit approval is available as an option for clients who travel seated in a vehicle. Maintenance is deliberately kept low, which matters for a client who does not want their chair off the road.
Fit has not been given away to reach the price. The QRi comes standard with a choice of frame inset, a highly adjustable axle plate for setting the centre of gravity, and several front frame angle options, so the chair can still be brought into a proper propelling position. Seat width, depth and height are specified to the script, and there is a wide colour range.
It is a sensible first rigid chair for someone moving off a standard folding chair.
