The Quickie Xenon FF is aimed squarely at the user whose chair has to keep up with them. It is an ultra-lightweight folding frame with a fixed front end, built for people who want rigid-chair performance without giving up the ability to fold the chair into a car.
The weight comes from 7000 series aerospace aluminium and ShapeLoc technology, a heat treatment that adds strength and lets Sunrise use thinner tube walls. Paired with ovalised tubing, the result is a folding frame that stays stiff under load, so more of each push turns into distance rather than frame flex.
The cross brace sits so close under the seat that the chair keeps a clean open look, and the redesigned axle stem gives it the stable feel to match.
