The Apex is a rigid everyday chair for an adult who self propels full time and wants the setup tuned closely to their body. It comes in two builds, the Apex A in triple butted aluminium with carbon components, and the Apex C in T700 carbon fibre, both with a carbon rigidiser bar to keep the rear end stiff.
Adjustment is the strength here. Back angle, centre of gravity, camber, front frame angle, seat to floor height and armrest height all move, and the frame is laser etched so left and right can be matched exactly and a change can be repeated later. For a clinician, that turns fitting from a best guess into something measurable.
Stiff frames reward efficient pushing, which is the argument for this chair in clients managing shoulder load over decades. A transit anchor kit is available where the chair needs to be occupied in a vehicle.
