tina is for the child whose positioning needs have outgrown a seat. The vacuum mattress moulds around them and distributes pressure evenly, which for a child in pain or at risk of a pressure injury is often the difference between tolerating a position and not tolerating it.
Everything moves electrically: reclining surface height, seat, back and knee angles, and seat tilt, all from a hand control with a lock so nothing gets changed by accident. That range takes the child from lying flat to sitting up and taking part in what is going on around them. An electric pump for the mattress is available, the PU rear wheels run drum brakes, the push bar adjusts for height and length, and universal mounting points take reclining shells and attachments.
Who it suits
Schuchmann put tina at GMFCS levels IV to V: children who need full postural support and position changes through the day rather than a chair they simply sit in. Measure the doorways and the vehicle before ordering, because getting it through the house matters as much as the fit.
