About this product

The Extreme X8 is a four wheel drive power chair for clients whose day does not stay on footpaths. Farm tracks, paddocks, beaches, bush campsites and rural worksites are the environments it is built for, and four gear in line motors with high torque are what get it there.

Who it suits

Adults who need full power mobility and live or work on unsealed ground, or whose participation goals involve getting off the concrete. It is also worth considering where a client’s current chair is effectively confining them to the house because the driveway defeats it.

An articulating front frame and low pressure knobby tyres keep all four wheels in contact with uneven ground, so traction holds where it would otherwise be lost. Kerbs and small steps are manageable. The seating side is not an afterthought: the seat pan adjusts across a wide range and takes MPS, Rehab or aftermarket seating, with power lift, tilt, recline and elevating legrests available as your script requires. It is made in Australia and crash tested.
