This is the battery pack for the Molift Nomad portable ceiling hoist and the earlier Molift HiTrac. It sits inside the hoist chassis and charges in the separate Molift charger, which can be wall mounted, left on a bench or carried in the Etac cart.
Order one when a hoist starts showing a low battery warning soon after a charge, or order a second so one pack can charge while the other is in use. A spare is worth having wherever the hoist does a lot of transfers a day, in respite settings, or where it travels between rooms or sites and cannot be left plugged in. The hoist warns with a light and an audible alarm before the pack is flat, with capacity held in reserve to finish lowering the client.
Good to know
- Battery only; the charger is a separate item
- A new pack does not reach full capacity until it has been fully charged and discharged a few times
- Charge every six months if the hoist is stored, or the cells may fail
- Return used packs to us for recycling
