About this product

Tilt in the bathroom is usually a trade off: you get the pressure relief and the head control, and you lose the ability to turn the chair in a small ensuite. The Raz-ART uses a patented dual arc orbital tilt that rotates the seat around a tight axis, so the chair keeps a small footprint and the carer applies very little effort to tilt it.

Who it suits

This is a chair for clients who need tilt for pressure management, trunk support or safe head position during showering and toileting, in homes and facilities where bathroom space is short. A built in tilt angle indicator lets a carer return to the angle the therapist prescribed, and the tilt lock is cable free. The aluminium frame inverts to give two tool free height ranges, so one chair covers a wide span of transfer heights and toilet bowl clearances.

The backrest slides fore and aft to change seat depth as the client grows or changes, and the Ischial and Pelvic Alignment System positions the aperture around the pelvis.
