Wrist monitors solve a practical problem: a client who cannot manage an upper arm cuff one handed, or who finds the pressure of a full cuff painful, will often take readings on a wrist device when they would otherwise take none at all.
The A and D UB-543 adds position guidance to that. Once the client settles on a measuring posture, the monitor detects where the wrist is sitting and signals with blue and orange lights until it is at the right level, which removes the most common source of error in home wrist readings.
Memory is split across two users, so a couple can both track readings on one device without the numbers getting mixed up. It is a reasonable choice for home monitoring where an upper arm device is not workable.
