The TrackMaster MK1 runs on a pair of rubber tracks. Spreading the load across the track face keeps the chair moving over sand, wet grass, mud, gravel and snow, so a client can get down to the beach, onto a bush track or around a paddock.
Who it suits
It suits someone who wants outdoor access without giving up indoor use. The tracks are narrow enough to pass through an internal doorway and the track material does not mark floors, so the same chair works on carpet and on a fire trail. Zero radius turning lets it swing on the spot in a hallway.
Two sealed motors drive the tracks independently, and an electronic brake holds the chair on a slope while a client transfers. Drop down armrests clear the transfer path, the footrest and stabilisation handle adjust to the user, and LED floodlights are fitted as standard for early starts and late finishes.
A tracked chair suits some clients and not others.
