When hip or knee movement is restricted, a level toilet seat is hard to get off. The angled version of the Etac Hi-Loo Fixed tilts forwards, so your client’s hips sit higher than their knees and the push up to standing starts from a better position.
Arm supports are part of the set, giving something solid to push down on. They fold up out of the way, can be fixed permanently in the down position, and one can be left off where the toilet sits close to a wall or where the client transfers sideways from a wheelchair.
The seat bolts through the existing pan fixings for a firm, non-moving fit, and the seat unit snaps off for cleaning. Recesses at the front and the back keep personal hygiene manageable for the client or the carer.
