About this product

A self help pole for clients on the K-Dee II, K-Dee Classic, Floorline and related bed series who need support to reposition, roll or come up to sitting.

It sits at the head end and can be fitted on either side of the bed, then rotated into place for use and swung out of the way when a carer needs the bedside clear. The pole comes with an adjustable fabric strap and a plastic triangle handle, knurled so it does not slip in a tired or sweaty hand.

One clinical point worth stating: the pole is a repositioning aid, not a standing aid, and it is not designed to take a client’s full body weight. Set the strap length so the client pulls with bent elbows and stays over the mattress.
