For a client who leans or slides forward in their chair, a shoulder harness gives the upper body the anchor it needs to stay square. The TheraFit harness is a heavy duty non-stretch design with reinforced webbing, so it holds its position through the day and does not creep as the client moves.
The extended upper straps pass over the shoulders and the three bar sliding clips let you position the quick release buckles close to the chair back, which keeps the buckles out of the client’s lap and away from busy hands. Adjustment is made from behind the chair using the pull finger loops, so a carer can tension it quickly at transfer time without kneeling in front of the client.
The padding is closed cell foam under a laminated knit fabric, which is supportive but still soft against the chest and shoulders.
