This is the swivel pad on its own, for an Etac Easy or Smart shower stool already in service. It sits on the seat and turns freely, so a client can rotate to reach their back, face the taps or line up for a stand without grinding their hips and knees around on a wet surface.
For clients with hip precautions, painful knees or low trunk rotation, the pad takes the twisting out of a seated shower. For carers, it makes washing a client’s back and repositioning for dressing a much shorter job.
Adding it to an existing stool avoids replacing equipment the client is already comfortable with, and it lifts sitting height only slightly. It lifts off for cleaning.
