A client who is broad through the shoulders and hips can find a standard shower commode back frame tight across the back and pinched at the armrests. This XL back frame fits in place of the standard one and opens the chair up across the whole seating area.
It widens the space between the arm supports by a set amount at each of the three standard settings, so there is more room for the back and shoulders and less pressure on the sides of the trunk. It comes with the back support upholstery and fits to the existing chassis, so a chair already in service can be converted.
