About this product

Some clients need something in front of them to hold, either for reassurance during a shower or to steady the trunk while a carer works around them. This cross bar spans between the armrests of an Etac Swift shower commode and gives the client a fixed bar to grip.

It can also be used as a strain support, giving the person something to brace against and push into while they are on the pan. It lifts off when the armrests need to fold for a side transfer, so it does not get in the way of the usual transfer routine.

This is the wider of the two lengths and matches the wider Swift configurations.
