Who it suits
The seca 477 is for services weighing clients who cannot stand steadily without something to hold. It adds an integrated steel handrail and platform to compatible seca column scales, giving a firm point of contact during the few seconds a weighing takes.
Because the rail is part of the weighing structure, a client can put real weight through their hands and the reading still holds true. That removes the usual instruction to let go, which is the moment many falls and near misses happen. For staff, it means one less person needed to steady someone on the platform.
Fitting is straightforward: the platform is pre drilled and the assembly kit is supplied, so an existing scale can be upgraded in place. It suits aged care, rehabilitation wards and general practice rooms with an older client base.
