Integrated head and foot positioners hold the infant in the correct lying position while you read the length, so the figure is consistent whoever takes it. Colour markings help you read it quickly and clearly from where you are standing.

It is aluminium with a printed scale made for daily handling, and it mounts easily to the scale. Note that it fits seca 374 and 376 scales manufactured from 2010 onwards, so check the age of the scale you have before ordering.
