The RVS 100 is a vital signs monitor for clinics, aged care and any service that needs blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen saturation and temperature captured properly and recorded once.
It runs in three profiles. Monitor mode watches a patient over time with visual and audible alarms. Spot check takes a single set of readings against a patient record. Triage takes readings quickly across a lot of people. The monitor can also be set up with NEWS or MEWS early warning scoring, or with local scoring profiles, and the four key parameters show in large colour coded figures so a deteriorating patient stands out at a glance.
A colour touchscreen handles patient entry and settings, and the unit can pass results to an electronic record over a wired or wireless connection so nothing is transcribed by hand. It runs off mains or its own battery for most of a shift, which suits a trolley that moves between rooms. Configurations vary in the temperature module, pulse oximetry technology and printer.
