A blood pressure cuff is a consumable, and the wrong size gives the wrong number. This is a reusable non-invasive blood pressure cuff made to fit the Northern Taurus vital signs monitor, either to replace one that has worn out or to add a second size so the one monitor covers a wider range of patients.
Six sizes are available, from neonatal through to adult thigh, so a service running mixed caseloads can hold the sizes it actually sees. Each cuff comes with its own connector and plugs straight into the monitor’s blood pressure hose port, and it wipes clean between patients with a hospital-grade disinfectant wipe.
It is the practical buy for clinics, aged care, allied health practices and community nurses. A large adult or thigh cuff is the right choice for a bariatric client, where an undersized cuff will over-read and mislead. If the monitor is a different brand, check with us first: cuff connectors are not interchangeable across all monitors.
