Bedding pressing down on the feet is a real problem for clients with pressure injuries on the heels, painful oedema, diabetic feet or foot drop. A blanket support lifts the covers clear so the weight comes off, while the client stays covered and warm.
This one has a frame end of two different widths, so you can turn it around to suit how much of the bed needs lifting. The height sets through six positions, which lets you clear a bulky dressing or a boot without tenting the whole bed. It slides under the mattress, so nothing has to be clamped or screwed to the bed frame.
It folds flat for storage or transport, and it is light enough for a carer to lift out and refit when making the bed.
