The Pathrider ES 10 is aimed at a client re entering community mobility and wanting something uncomplicated. Controls are simple, the seat sits low for an easy step on, and the whole thing is light enough that a carer can handle the pieces without a major effort.
The seat is a low back design with viscoelastic foam and it folds flat, and the solid tyres are puncture proof, so there is no pump to remember or tube to repair. Armrests adjust, there is a bright LED headlight and a rear view mirror, and the basket sits on the tiller within easy reach rather than down near the wheels.
It handles footpaths and smooth surfaces well, and quick disassembly means a client can be taken to appointments or to visit family with the scooter in the boot. The lower seat height also makes standing transfers easier for a client with limited leg strength.
