The Invacare Matrx PB Deep is a wheelchair back support for clients who need real lateral containment through the trunk. The shell is deeply contoured, so the sides come around the ribcage and hold the client centred through the day, even as they tire.

That containment is what makes the difference for clients with low trunk control, scoliosis or a tendency to windsweep. Sitting centred means a more even load through the seat cushion, better head position for eating and communication, and less work for the client to stay upright.

It comes in a wide range of shell widths and heights, and it mounts to most manual and power chair back canes. The cover and the foam can be specified to suit the client’s skin and heat tolerance.
