Drinking gets difficult when grip is weak or the hands shake. These Homecraft mugs have two large contoured handles, so a person can take the weight with both hands and keep the cup steady on the way to the mouth.
The wide base makes the mug harder to knock over on a table or an overbed tray, and the translucent body is marked with gradations so fluid intake can be read off without decanting into a measuring jug. That is useful on a ward or wherever intake is being charted.
Two lids are supplied: a spout lid for controlled sipping and a splash lid for anyone who tends to spill. Supplied as a pair, so there is one in use and one in the wash.
