It slides under the mattress and is held by straps, so there is no drilling and no modification to the bed. That makes it workable in rental properties and in facilities where the bed cannot be altered, and it comes apart again for storage or for taking to respite.

The handle height on this model is fixed, so match it to the height of your client’s bed and mattress before ordering. Check the user weight rating against the client as well, since it is lower than a bed pole.
