A hand therapy board for clients working on grip, finger movement and forearm control. Resistive rollers are set into the board, and turning them draws on finger flexion, extension and lateral prehension along with forearm supination and pronation and wrist movement.
Suction cups on the underside hold the board on a table so the client is not chasing it around the surface, which matters when only one hand is working or when balance and trunk control are limited. That stability is what lets a client practise on their own between sessions.
Hook and loop strips on the board add resistance when you want the exercise harder, so the same board can follow a client from early rehabilitation to a maintenance programme.
